This event opens with insights from Guillaume Vaslin’s research on universal design, followed by a cross-cultural discussion with Professor Waldmann, Raphaël, and Yoichiro on the future of international design.

Guillaume VASLIN
Guillaume is the founder of ENNOstudio and Design Director at AOE. Based in Berlin, he designs inclusive digital products across health, telecom, and finance. He lectures across Europe and is conducting research this fall at Keio University on universal UI design.
Matthew WALDMAN
Matthew Waldman is best known as the founder of NOOKA – the lifestyle design brand brought the revolution of interface design to physical products and created unique timepieces that reinterpreted how time was told. Before NOOKA, Matthew gained recognition as a pioneer in digital interactive and UX design, founding New York Zoom in 1997, building an award winning global team at Reuters in 2002, and with his interactive design studios creates narrative driven design for brands. At KMD, Professor Waldman turns his focus to circular design with a focus on expanding the designer toolkit towards material science and bio-design.
Yoichiro TAMADA
Yoichiro is CEO and Creative Director of YL Projects, a global agency he founded in 2019. He specializes in creative direction, branding, and communication for clients like Rakuten, Bacardi, and L’Oréal. Awards include Webby, AWWWARDS, and CSS Design Awards.
Raphaël HODÉ
Raphaël is CEO of nowthen, a design studio partnering with startups to turn bold ideas into brands. Formerly with Designit and DDB, he’s worked with global clients and co-founded the social venture kammeko. His focus: UX, branding, and entrepreneurship.
